Finding Melfort Self Catering Holiday Village

You should expect a drive of 2½ hours from Glasgow and 3½ hours from Edinburgh.

From Glasgow, follow the A82 along Loch Lomond to Tarbet where you take the left fork onto the A83, through Arrochar and Inveraray to Lochgilphead. Kilmelford is 23 miles north of Lochgilphead on the A816. The turn off for Melfort is on the left hand side just before the village of Kilmelford.

From Edinburgh, head towards Crianlarich on the A85 and continue on this road to Oban. Kilmelford is 16 miles south of Oban on the A816. The turn off for Melfort Village is on the right hand side (500m) after Kilmelford.

The single track road to Melfort travels 1½ miles through the woods close to the shores of Loch Melfort. After crossing a small bridge, the road to Reception is immediately on the right, through two stone pillars.
