This self catering cottage is set in a large triangle of garden (shared with Melfort Cottage) and the rear of the building leads on to the old stable yard which has been landscaped into a quadrangle garden flanked on the other two sides by the Stables and Haybarn Cottages.

On the ground floor, Melfort Lodge has a very spacious kitchen/dining room; two small twin bedrooms;and bathroom. A staircase leads from the kitchen to the upper floor, where there is a large wood-clad sitting room with woodburning stove (affording a view over the paddock and the trees lining the River Oude); master bedroom with en-suite w.c.

Melfort Lodge is suitable for 6 (8) self catering persons.
