Fishing Lochan

FISHING – Fly fishing is available for a small charge on Loch nan Druimnean. We have a boat on the loch exclusively for the use of guests & basic tackle for hire. The loch is situated near the A816, with easy access and parking. Alternatively the walk from Melfort Village, which is only a mile or so, is very pleasant and a great way to see some of the beautiful scenery around Kilmelford. The loch holds a healthy population of wild brown trout, which average around ‘three to the pound’, although they fight like fish twice the size!
