Fishing Lochan
During the trout fishing season, you can fish our lochan for wild brown trout.
Playpark, Paddock & Putting Green
PLAYPARK – Situated in the centre of the village, the well-maintained children’s playground is equipped with slide, climbing frame, activity course, balance bar, swings and a spring mobile. The is a new multi-activity outdoor play park and swing ball situated within the Walled Garden grounds.
PADDOCK – The Paddock is conveniently situated in the centre of the Village and has a variety of uses! Often used for exercising dogs as it is reasonably secure and is ideal for doggy ball games! Families also make use of the open space for ball games, or picnicking on the outdoor seating (this is where we held our Royal Wedding staff picnic!). Our local school sometimes holds its Sports Day here!
PUTTING GREEN – Essentially a “rough” 9-hole putting green suitable for family fun. Golf Clubs and balls are available to borrow at the entrance to the putting green with cleaning/sanitizing materials for you to use before playing.
